Last august Natalia and Sur were in Auckland, New Zealand for ISME20!
Natalia gave a talk on her work with synthetic communities from Cuatro Ciénegas to understand their response to global warming.
Sur presented a poster on our work to detect natural selection in the human microbiome, and was a panelist on the topic of whether we should regulate the release of synthetic communities.
ISME is always a great place to see old friends, meet new ones, and learn a lot of science. We'll be back on ISME21!
