Sur participated in the SMBE24 conference at Puerto Vallarta. He co-organized and moderated the symposium on "Molecular evolution through metagenomics".
Among over 1000 participants there were close to 40 alumns and alumni from LCG and LCGEJ, as well as over 30 colleagues from LIIGH-UNAM.
